Following the huge success of our very first International Agriculture Show, The Pink Lady® Europe Association will attend the event for the second time from 25 February to 5 March 2016 – Stand 2.2, gate D017.
Attendees can visit our Pink Lady® orchard and discover (or rediscover) the apple across the seasons and meet with 17 of our apple growers. “Sharing” and “experience” are the watchwords that attract so many people to the Pink Lady stand. This is a great opportunity to highlight a unique organisation that has made Pink Lady® successful for the past 20 years.
The apple growers tending the stand will be eager to discuss their commitment to responsible agriculture with visitors, including their zero-waste policy and to show their unique and the meticulous work (700 hrs of work / hectare) involved in growing Pink Lady apples.
Every single actor of the Pink Lady® chain is fully involved in governing the association. This naturally creates a synergy between the different partners and a pooling of experience, knowledge and technical expertise
An ambitious association
Pink Lady® generates 10,000 jobs across Europe and almost 5000 in France. With 807 sites in south-west, south-east France and the Loire Valley, the French branch exports 72% of its production, thus contributing to France’s Trade Balance. This is possible due to the human-scale of our orchards located in traditional apple growing areas and helping to maintain tree growing regions.
